Why Adience

Spectro Cloud partnered with Adience to support the development of its annual State of Production Kubernetes report, a core part of its thought leadership program.

Adience’s approach was highly collaborative, with the team acting as an extension of Spectro Cloud’s own. Their responsiveness and flexibility allowed the client to explore new ideas, run additional analysis, and test hypotheses as the project evolved.

This proactive, solutions-focused way of working ensured the research could adapt as priorities evolved.

What we did:

Reviewed previous Spectro Cloud and competitor reports and conducted a detailed discovery phase, including a kick-off meeting with stakeholders to define key themes, desired headlines, and target audiences.

Designed and implemented a robust quantitative survey targeting Kubernetes practitioners and decision-makers. Adience guaranteed 450 validated responses via its respondent network, supplemented by Spectro Cloud’s customer and prospect database.

Enriched the quantitative data with six one-hour qualitative interviews exploring real-world Kubernetes experiences in depth, adding authentic practitioner voices and case-study detail.

Analyzed the data to surface the most compelling narratives, from adoption trends and challenges to AI-driven innovation and emerging best practices.

Ran a collaborative analysis process combining Adience’s data expertise with Spectro Cloud’s deep subject-matter knowledge. We interrogated the data, explored new cuts, tested hypotheses, and validated findings to produce a richer narrative.

Delivered insights that underpinned a thought leadership report, positioning Spectro Cloud as an authoritative voice in Kubernetes management, earning strong engagement from industry analysts and media.

“Adience felt like an extension of our team, proactively suggesting new topics, responding quickly to ideas, and adapting the approach as our thinking evolved. The result is a working relationship that has allowed us to break new ground in the report, probe new topics and deliver genuinely unexpected insights to our customer base. Together, we dug deep into AI, uncovering real stories of the challenges respondents faced. This is one of the very few supplier-side relationships I have where the team is as invested as we are in the success of the outcome.”
