Adience provided MyKnowledgeMap with strategic guidance to inform a robust go-to-market plan for a new solution spanning targeting, feature development and pricing and positioning.

To pursue the opportunity with confidence, the company sought a research partner that not only understood the sector’s technical nuances but could also provide clear strategic guidance to inform a robust go-to-market plan. This needed to span targeting, feature development, pricing and positioning, and to explore the proposed technical specifications.
Following a competitive pitch, Adience was selected for its deep market expertise, methodological flexibility and highly tailored approach. Stakeholders consistently highlighted the personal, thoughtful nature of the engagement and the clarity with which Adience connected insight to real strategic action.
Adience outlined a bespoke two-stage approach:
Discover: Scope the project with key stakeholders. Estimate the opportunity size using desk and secondary research to understand the target audience’s needs and pain points.
Explore: In-depth qualitative interviews with industry experts across regions to explore trends, the competitive landscape and test some of MyKnowledgeMap’s hypotheses. The interviews were deliberately exploratory, using a range of techniques to surface underlying motivations and commercial realities.
Create: A customized approach to participant recruitment. During the proposal stage, Adience outlined a highly targeted participant recruitment strategy, identifying the companies and roles most relevant to the research and how to reach them via LinkedIn and other channels. This demonstrated a clear understanding of the market and the practical challenges of reaching the right audience. Crucially, it showed that the research would be focused on delivering practical recommendations.
Tessa Bowles, Marketing Manager at MyKnowledgeMap said, “From the start, Adience stood out. Their knowledge of the edtech and digital credentials market was evident, and rather than arriving with a fixed formula, they proposed an agile approach that aligned closely with our objectives. Strong research credentials made them a credible choice despite being a smaller agency. Stakeholders consistently highlighted the personal, thoughtful nature of the engagement, and the clarity with which Adience connected insight to real strategic action.”
“This was more than a research project, it was a strategic reset. Adience's role didn't end with the debrief. Leadership gained real certainty about direction and clarity on where to focus investment. The team was outstanding at ensuring that findings travelled across the organization and translated into meaningful action. That impact speaks for itself: the engagement has led to further work, reflecting our confidence in both the insight and the people behind it."
While there were no dramatic surprises in the findings, the confirmation and prioritization of strategic direction proved highly valuable. Leadership gained certainty in decision-making and clarity around where to focus effort and investment. In particular:
